Controls and interaction prompts
Steam lists full controller support, and reviews say prompts need a precise standing spot and facing.
Store categories on October 9, 2026 include full controller support, DualShock, DualSense, camera comfort, custom volume, subtitles, surround and stereo, and playable without timed input. That is a feature list, not a button map. This site does not invent keyboard or controller glyphs.
Tom's Guide describes Alfred's movement as slow: he cannot sprint or run, he can walk briskly on some surfaces, and he cannot jump or crouch whenever he wants. The walkthrough still says to crouch for the flowers in the opening. Those two reports can both be true if crouch is available only in that beat. If a crouch prompt never shows, reposition before assuming the verb is gone.
GamingTrend's complaint about the same pre-release PS5 copy is the prompt itself: the reviewer had to aim at a very specific angle before “Open Door” appeared, and called the detection wonky. Standing beside an object is not always enough. Face it and take a small step.
The opening of the Woolson Falls chapter is also the control lesson: the camera is first-person until Audrey hands it over and the game switches to third person.
